8 Weird Things About Me...

1. I can't stand being in total silence because I have such horrible ringing in my ears. I have to have white noise in the backround.

2. When I Stucco is out of town, I keep one of his shirts with me in bed so I can "smell him" when he's gone. (Two days after my Mom died, I sat in her closet with her clothes for hours so I could "smell her.")

3. I absolutely cannot function without enormous amounts of coffee every day.

4. I have never abused any type of drug or smoked cigarettes but I am okay with everyone else doing it, if they choose to wander that path.

5. I used to avoid being in any water with a depth over my head. Since I have been on an anti-anxiety drug, I can swim in deep water with no fear whatsoever.

6. I have piercings located in an area that would surprise a lot of people who know me.

7. I can spend hours reading about weather on weather.com. I am fascinated by it.

8. I've always wanted to be an airline pilot.

I have a terrible ringing too.

Always have to have a fan, TV or something to be able to sleep.

Not sure if it's from the guns, or the garage band.

I can't just let the piercing fact slide by now can i?

C'mon, confess.

I hate dead silence too. We have fans/air purifiers all over the house and it feels really creepy when they're all off, like during a power failure.

Yup Meno's right, not letting that one go by. Where are they?

I sleep with one of my husband's shirts when he's gone too! Too bad it doesn't protect me from all those noises in the night, but still, it smells so good.

Hammer- Ha! Do you wear ear protection when you shoot or are you just shooting when hunting? I'm not sure where my ringing comes from. Stucco would say it's from all of my chatting on the phone!

Meno- Just for you. My nipples are pierced. :) It's actually very pretty.

Jill- We lost power during a really bad storm here in Jan. and I couldn't go to sleep at all. It was waaay too quiet!

Maggie- Heh. My nipples are pierced. Yes, it did hurt, in fact. But it was worth it! ;) I am glad I'm not the only one who sleeps with their husband's shirt!

Pants- Heh. I had to share the news with "Sparkle!" :)

KelKel- I think you know me better than I know myself sometimes! I know you aren't surprised ;)

Which shirt?

I just had to add this: my husband is so sweet that when he leaves for a trip, he specifically uses my favorite of his colognes on a shirt a day before he leaves and then gives me the shirt. Ain't he special?

Any shirt you've worn recently. Last time it was your soft, white t-shirt.

Maggie- He is a truly sweet guy. He is definitely a "keeper."

Oh schmoopie~ I kept a drawer full of clothes and hubbies cologne for about 3 years...I know what you mean.. and I have 5 shirts of my Dads... that I finally had to wash. But the feel of his undershirts makes me think of Daddy. Nips with holes... do you hang fine washables from them?? :o)

Cheesy- I'll bet it was difficult to give up that drawer. My dad is still alive, but I have an old pair of his pj's that he gave me (long story, sort of a joke.) Ahh the memories!

WOW ... an airline pilot with pierced nipples. Excuse me captain ... you seem to have set off the metal detector ... please step over to the side so that we can screen you again.

MC- LOL! Hmm...I might enjoy being screened multiple times. ;)

I can see getting my nipples pierced, except for the pain. Tanks for telling, it'll be our little secret.

Not being able to function without "enormous amounds of coffee" sounds a bit like abusing drugs to me (not that there's anything wrong with that). Caffiene is a drug - look into it.

Meno- It did hurt a bit, but they have healed nicely. Thanks for not telling! I'm just sure no one knows and won't be able to tell. ;)

Anon- I may be "abusing" caffeine, but it does not hamper my ability to care for my children or myself or to operate heavy machinery- so I am okay with that.
