OH HAPPY DAY!

What a great day in the politics of the United States! Rumsfeld is gone, Democrats control the House and hopefully the Senate as well. We can harbor feelings of hope that the people hired, as a result of the election, can and will make a difference. The people have spoken. We want change!

The people don't know anything. They are only voting for change because they feel a little pain. Wait until the interest on the defecit exceeds our ability to pay. All that has really happened is that one group of lying criminals has been partially replaced with another. You think you'll ever see a law that says a politico can only vote for a law that they themselves have read in its entirety? No chance. Not trying to rain on the parade, but let's not lose our heads over this. Remember the "Liberal" Ken Salazar that got elected and then voted for the banruptcy law written by the credit card companies? Yeah...

Pants- We can breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Stucco and O. I know the Dems are far from perfect but they have a bit more of the people's best interests at heart. A lot of them at least attempt to bring changes about to help the people. Look at what Dean did in VT. 99% of the children in his state have health insurance. He's made progress there with a lot of social reform. He should have been made pres.
