Good for her. Mine just got them off and is very happy to be only using a retainer.

Purple, pink and blue! So much cooler than back in the day when we all walked to school uphill both ways. *s*

Oooh, here's where all of us old folks start telling horror stories about how braces were "in the old days." The head gear, the metal bands around the teeth, the wire cutters. Ah, the memories. :)

Hope her mouth isn't too sore. Like the colors too!

Miss T.- She hammed it up pretty well!

Meno- A is already dreaming of the day she will only have to have the retainer. Em must feel so free!

KelKel- Love you too!

Pants- She gets to change the colors several times during the years she will have them. She is excited to coordinate with her outfits. Definitely way cooler!

Jill- I never had to have braces. (I can lay the blame for A's squarely on Stucco!) So he has shared some crazy stories with her about his already. Thanks for the good wishes. The soreness is fading and the reality of having to wear the headgear 14 hours per day has set-in. :)

How pretty!

I remember the days when my girls got theirs off... we sat around BOTH times and ate jelly beans [what they missed the most]

Youngest daughter even timed her senior pics around a brace change and got her pics taken that day lol.

My 3 boys never had to wear braces. Oldest should have but got into a FIST fight early in high school and lost a couple of teeth.. problem solved and money saved!

Hugs to the gurlie child.. she will NOT be sorry! KEEP SMILING!!!
