I Used to Blog But...

Hello friends! After many busy days, I have finally found a few minutes to post a blog. Between having to put Chessie and Toonces down, switching A. and Z.'s school, hosting family from out of town, and getting a new yellow lab puppy it has been rather chaotic around here. A. and Z. needed an environment that better suited their personalities and intellect. They are now attending a great charter school in Douglas county. They have to wear uniforms (yes, they will look back and probably hate us for making them attend a school that makes them wear uniforms but I will tell them it was so they didn't have to wear uniforms at their very lucrative jobs!) We are excited because they are actually learning history, science and poetry at the elementary level. Our new lab's name is officially "Alia's Miss Daisy." She is from a ranch in Wyoming. She is very active and gives our other two labs a run for their money. Stucco insists that I am becoming one of those "crazy dog people" and that I am "empty-nesting." He's probably onto something there, but we are having fun with them none-the-less. Who knew that 3 labs could provide so much entertainment? I hope everyone is well. I will try to post more often now that A. and Z. are in school all day.
